San Francisco, CA – Fort Bragg, CA

Today pickup your bike from our San Francisco location and start your ride on the famous Pacific Coast Highway. As you leave San Francisco cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and get off the main highway. Once off the highway head into Point Reyes National Seashore and up the coast to your first overnight stop in Fort Bragg. As you ride, be sure to stop along the many small towns scattered along the ocean such as Bodega Bay and Inverness. Before riding into Fort Bragg stop in Mendocino for a classic beachside town stuck in the past. Once in Fort Bragg visit Glass Rock Beach for a scenic beach filled with glass pebbles. Once you are all settled at your hotel stop for a pint and some great food at North Coast Brewery.

Fort Bragg, CA – Red Bluff, CA

Today continue your ride along the coast and eventually inland to the Victorian town of Red Bluff. Leave Fort Bragg and continue on Pacific Coast Highway. As you ride, the scenery transforms from the sunny coastline to the giant redwood trees of Northern California. Take a detour through the Avenue of the Giants for a firsthand look at these giant trees. Before heading inland stop in Fortuna nicknamed the “The Friendly City”. From Fortuna ride inland to Red Bluff for your overnight stop. Today combines coastal, forest, and mountain riding all in one amazing ride!

Red Bluff, CA – South Lake Tahoe, CA

After Red Bluff it is time to leave the California Valley and ride to the charming lakeside town of South Lake Tahoe. Climb the Northern California Mountains and prepare for another day of twisty roads and stunning views. If you have time be sure to ride through Lassen Volcanic National Park home to numerous volcanos and peaks. From Lassen continue your ride to South Lake Tahoe for your overnight stop. Along the way, stop in Quincy voted one of America’s top ten “coolest small towns” for a bite to eat and Truckee for a classic Californian railroad town.

South Lake Tahoe, CA – Mammoth Lakes, CA

From South Lake Tahoe it’s off to the winter resort town of Mammoth Lakes. In the winter, Mammoth Lakes is covered in snow and is a popular winter sports destination. However, in the summer the trees are green and snow is nowhere to be seen! The direct ride from South Lake Tahoe to Mammoth Lakes is fairly short however the ride we have planned is an all day ride. Today, zig-zag through the Sierra Nevada Mountains as you ride across Sonora Pass and back across Tioga Pass to Mammoth Lakes. Once you arrive, park you bike and enjoy the small town atmosphere Mammoth has to offer.

Mammoth Lakes, CA – Furnace Creek, CA

Today you will have the largest change in scenery as you ride into the heart of Death Valley, one of the most desolate and breathtaking areas in the United States. Start at in Mammoth Lakes at 7,800 ft above sea level and head to Furnace Creek at 214 ft below sea level, a drop of almost 8,000 ft. As you ride down the mountain stop in Bishop and Lone Pine for two quaint towns. Lone Pine is the site of countless Western films and is an icon in the Western Movie industry. After a quick stop in Lone Pine ride into the desert and stop in Furnace Creek for the night.

Furnace Creek, CA – Laughlin, NV

After your stay in the desert it is off to Laughlin for a miniature Las Vegas on the banks of the Colorado River. Hop on your bike and ride out of Death Valley, through Mojave National Preserve, and eventually on the iconic Route 66. When you reach Route 66 be sure to visit Amboy, CA for a classic Route 66 stop. Originally Amboy used to be a stop for travelers looking for a place to rest and eat. Today the hotel and diner are closed but you can still get some gas before continuing your adventure. After a fuel stop continue your ride on Route 66 into Nevada and to your overnight stop in Laughlin. Park your bike and enjoy the river views and many casinos Laughlin has to offer.

Laughlin, NV – Las Vegas, NV

Today is your last riding day as you leave Laughlin and travel to beautiful Las Vegas. As you leave Laughlin head back on Route 66 and ride to Kingman, known as the Heart of Route 66. Along the way be sure to visit Oatman, AZ for a classic Western Route 66 town. Stop in Oatman, grab a bite to eat, drink a root beer, and enjoy the wandering Burros before riding into Kingman. Once in Kingman head up into Nevada and eventually Las Vegas to return your bike. Don’t forget to stop at Hoover Dam before reaching Las Vegas!
