Does EagleRider offer any discounts on rentals or tours?
There are four ways you can always stretch your riding dollar with EagleRider:
- Plan travel outside of our highest peak demand periods, which are typically August - September. The weather in July in the USA is no different than in August, and the same logic applies to September and much of October.
- Gather your friends! Groups of 2 or more motorcycles receive up to a 20% discount on rentals, while groups of 4 or more motorcycles enjoy a 5% discount on tours. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
- Ride longer – Our pricing is set up to give you greater value the longer you ride.
- Package & Save – Package your motorcycle rental with our EagleRider Motorcycle Friendly Hotels and enjoy savings from 10% - 30%.

What kind of license is required to rent from EagleRider?
We accept a current and valid driver’s license from your home country with the proper class or endorsement permitting you to ride the motorcycle, or equivalent of the motorcycle, you are renting. Please note: State laws apply to your rental vehicle and its use.
When picking up from locations in the United States:
Licenses issued from the United States:
· Two-wheel vehicles: Motorcycles
o All 50 states require some sort of motorcycle endorsement on your driver’s license which is equivalent to the motorcycle you are renting.
· Three-wheel: Trikes
o A three-wheel vehicle endorsement may be required
Here are some examples of alternative licenses that we accept:
Licenses issued from the European Union (Germany, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden):
· A1/A2 – Will allow you to rent scooters.
· A – Will allow you to rent motorcycles or scooters.
· B1 – Will allow you to rent three-wheeled vehicles.
Licenses issued from Canada:
· Class 6 designation – For all provinces except for Ontario
o Ontario
§ Class M1: Will allow you to rent motorcycles and scooters during daylight hours with speed limit no more than 80 km/h on limited highways. Please view here for more details.
§ Class M2: Will allow you to rent motorcycles.
§ Class M: Will allow you to rent motorcycles or scooters.
§ Class M Condition M: Will allow you to rent three-wheeled vehicles.
Licenses issued from Australia:
· R-Date – Will allow you to ride scooters.
· R – Will allow you to ride motorcycles or scooters.
Licenses issued from Brazil:
· Category A - designation on your driver’s license to ride any motorcycle or scooters.
International Driver’s Permits (not required for EagleRider):
· Although not required, it is recommended for all visitors with a license in a foreign language to obtain an IDP.
· If your license is legible, we will accept it.
Do I need a Motorcycle Endorsement to rent the Slingshot?
Depending on your state issued license requirements, a motorcycle endorsement may not be required*. States that do not require a motorcycle endorsement to drive the Slingshot:
Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington. For these states, a driver's license is sufficient.
International customers – please follow the laws from which your license originates regarding the three-wheel endorsement.

Do I need a 3-wheel motorcycle license to rent the Can-Am Spyder?
Depending on your state issued license requirements, a 3-wheel motorcycle license may be required to drive the Can-Am Spyder*. The states of California, Nevada, and South Carolina do not require a 3-wheel motorcycle license and a driver's license is sufficient to rent the Can-Am Spyder. Does EagleRider offer discounts for group bookings?
Yes, EagleRider provides group booking discounts for both motorcycle and tour reservations.
For Motorcycle-Only Reservations:
- Groups of 3 or more motorcycles receive a 10% discount.
- Groups of 6 or more motorcycles enjoy a 20% discount.
For Tour Reservations:
- Groups of 4 or more motorcycles receive a 5% discount.
The group booking discount is automatically applied during the checkout process. Simply ensure that your reservation meets the specified group size criteria to enjoy the savings.
Can I combine the group booking discount with other promotions?
The group booking discount cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
Can the group booking discount be applied retroactively?
Unfortunately, the group booking discount cannot be applied retroactively. It is only applicable at the time of booking.
Is there a rental reservation deposit, and how does it work?
Yes, there is a rental reservation deposit. If your rental reservation totals more than $500 USD and is booked more than 30 days before the pick-up date, a minimum deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days before the pick-up date.
Please note:
- For reservations under $500 USD, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- For group bookings paid with one credit or debit card, EagleRider will charge the remaining group balance to the same card used for payment at the time of booking. If you prefer to settle the remaining balance earlier or with a different payment method, please call and make arrangements before the remaining balance due date.
What is VIP-ZERO Plus Theft and Damage Waiver?
It completely covers damage and partially covers theft. Renter pays $0 per damage occurrence and up to $1,000 per theft occurrence. Please reference our Damage Waiver and Insurance page for more details.
What is VIP Plus Theft and Damage Waiver?
It partially covers damage and theft. Renter pays $2,000 USD per damage occurrence and up to $5,000 USD per theft occurrence. Please reference our Damage Waiver and Insurance for more details.
What is Supplemental Liability Insurance?
Supplemental Liability Insurance protects the renter and the passenger with third party liability coverage. We currently only offer Supplemental Liability Insurance that covers up to $300,000 USD.
Do you offer accident insurance for All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)?
EagleRider offers additional protection for ATVs for $25 USD/day. Please select this option when checking out.
Can I return the rental motorcycle after hours?
While we encourage customers to return their rental motorcycles during regular business hours to seamlessly close out the rental agreement and prevent any potential additional charges, we do understand that circumstances may arise.
Please be aware that if the motorcycle is returned after the rental location's business hours, you will be responsible for the motorcycle until it is satisfactorily checked in by the rental location. This responsibility persists even if the check-in process takes place on the next business day. It is recommended to communicate with the rental location in advance if you anticipate returning the motorcycle after hours to ensure a smooth process.
What is the policy for late returns of rental motorcycles?
If you return the rental motorcycle late, there is typically a 59-minute grace period for daily rentals. However, if the motorcycle is returned after this grace period, a late fee of $25 per hour will apply. Should the late charge exceed the daily rental cost, you will be charged for an additional day of rental.
It's important to note that if the motorcycle is returned after the rental location business hours, you are responsible for the motorcycle until it is satisfactorily checked in by the rental location, even if the check-in process occurs on the next business day.
What is EagleRider's refund policy for reservation cancellations?

Does EagleRider offer helmets with speakers, microphones, and two-way communication?
At present, we do not provide two-way communication systems. However, helmets with speakers and microphones are available at select rental locations. To confirm availability, please check with the pickup location.
Can I rent a motorcycle with a passenger backrest and saddlebags/side cases? If yes, which models are available?
Many EagleRider rental locations offer motorcycles equipped with saddlebags/side cases and a passenger backrest. These features are available on popular models like Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide, Heritage Softail, and Honda Goldwing.
Certain motorcycle models, such as BMW R 1250 GS, BMW R 1250 RT, Yamaha Tenere 1200, and Yamaha Tenere 700, come with side cases.
Please be aware that the availability of these features may vary, so please confirm with the rental pickup location for the most up-to-date information.
Do you offer Jacket rentals?
Jacket rentals are available at most stores in both leather and textile. We also have a large selection of jackets available for purchase.
Does EagleRider offer airport pick-up?
EagleRider does not provide airport pick-up or reimburse taxi expenses for transportation to or from the airport.
Can I pick the color of the motorcycle I want?
While we cannot guarantee the availability of a specific color for our motorcycles, we strive to accommodate customer preferences to the best of our ability. Our team will make every effort to provide the requested color, subject to availability and the current inventory of our rental fleet.
Does EagleRider provide an orientation to my rental motorcycle if it is a model I do not ride at home?
Once you complete your quick rental check-in at our location one of our team members will provide a comprehensive orientation of your EagleRider rental motorcycle. The orientation will include a thorough damage and safety inspection, as well as detailed instruction on features, engine starting and cutoff procedures, location of braking, turn signals, emergency flashers, stereo operations, saddle bags, cable and disc locking procedures, location and storage of the motorcycle registration, and much more. Be sure to ask as many questions as you need to feel 100% comfortable and confident with your motorcycle before you start your journey.
What Damage Waivers and Insurance does EagleRider offer?
Please note: A Police Report is required for all damages or accidents. All damages to rented motorcycle without a police report will be considered to be at the fault of the Renter.
For Motorcycles:
- VIP Plus Theft & Damage Waiver: Covers the costs of damages after a $2,000 deductible and theft after a $5,000 deductible. In the event of a breakdown, you will be reimbursed $35/day for a replacement rental and a refund of the daily rate. A security deposit of $2,000 is required.
- VIP-ZERO Plus Theft & Damage Waiver: Covers the costs of damages with a $0 deductible and theft after a $1,000 deductible. In the event of a breakdown, you will be reimbursed $100/day for a replacement rental and a refund of the daily rate. A security deposit of $100 is required.
- Supplemental Liability Insurance: Protects the renter, and the passenger, with third party liability coverage, covering up to $300,000 USD.

For Scooters Only:
- VIP Theft & Damage Waiver: Renter pays $500 USD for theft and damage to the motorcycle and motorcycle accessories. Renter is provided up to $35 USD/ day for a replacement rental + refund of daily rate. A security deposit of $250 USD is required at pick-up.
- EVIP Theft & Damage Waiver: Renter pays $250 USD for damage to the motorcycle and motorcycle accessories. Renter is provided up to $75 USD/ day for a replacement rental + refund of daily rate. A security deposit of $100 USD is required at pick-up.
For Dirt Bikes Only:
- Renter pays up to $2,000 USD deductible per damage occurrence and pays full retail value of stolen Rental Vehicle and accessories per theft occurrence. A security deposit of $2,000 USD is required at pick-up.
- If no coverage is purchased, Renter pays full retail value of ALL damages per damage occurrence and pays pull retail value of stolen Rental Vehicle and accessories per theft occurrence. A security deposit of $5,000 USD is required at pick-up.
How does the security deposit (credit card authorization) work?
Depending on which Theft and Damage Waiver you choose, a security deposit between $100 USD to $5,000 USD will be required when you are picking up your motorcycle. The security deposit will be deducted from the available balance on your credit card and might be held by your bank for up to 45 days. After that, it will be automatically released in full unless we charge any damages, traffic violations, or any other necessary charges against it.
What happens if I need to cancel my motorcycle reservation?
In the event that you need to cancel your motorcycle reservation:
- If the cancellation occurs more than 31 days before the pickup date, you will receive a full refund in the form of store credit.
- Cancellations made between 21-30 days before the pickup date will incur a 30% cancellation fee, with the remaining amount issued as store credit.
- Cancellations made between 11-20 days before the pickup date will incur a 60% cancellation fee, with the remaining amount issued as store credit.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 10 days of the pickup date.

Can I have the motorcycle delivered to my home, hotel, or other location?
The availability of delivery options varies by rental location. Please contact the EagleRider Global Reservations Department at +1 (888) 900-9901 (within the USA) or the pickup location for detailed pricing. Delivery services carry an additional cost, which depends on factors such as the number of bikes, location, season, and other variables.
Can I add additional riders to my rental?
One additional rider is permitted at no additional cost. The minimum age for an additional driver is 21 and a valid motorcycle license is required.
What is the minimum age requirement to rent from EagleRider?
You must be at least 21 to rent a motorcycle with EagleRider. There is no age limit for passengers; however, the passenger must be able to reach the passenger footpegs or floorboards of the bike.
If your are under 21, you must meet the following criteria:
- 18 - 20 Years Old
- Motorcycle license or endorsement
- Completed Motorcycle Riding Academy (Harley-Davidson® Authorized Training Program only) or Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) Course
- Available to rent up to 500cc motorcycles
- USA Locations ONLY
Do the rental locations provide gear for rent or purchase?
At most of our EagleRider rental locations, complimentary DOT-Approved half-shell helmets are available for both riders and passengers. However, it's essential to note that some locations may not offer these helmets, so please check with the pickup location for confirmation.
Half-shell helmets for riders and passengers are provided free of charge with your motorcycle rental.
Furthermore, the majority of EagleRider locations feature motorcycle gear and accessory showrooms with a diverse range of the latest styles. From helmets and gloves to chaps, jackets, and riding glasses, we have everything you need for a fantastic ride. For international travelers, take advantage of favorable exchange rates by purchasing all your new riding gear at an EagleRider location. Gear up and ride with confidence!
Is there a secure place for me to store my luggage?
Yes. All EagleRider locations offer a complimentary secure luggage storage area. Many EagleRider locations offer Luggage Shipping Service at an additional cost for One Way Rentals.
Does EagleRider offer One Way Rentals?
EagleRider is the only motorcycle rental and tour company in the United States that offers One Way Rentals between all of our more than 60 locations. Some restrictions apply for riders wishing to do a One Way Rental across international borders. For One Way Rentals between our international locations please contact our Global Reservations Department at +1 888-900-9901.
What happens if I get a flat tire?
In the rare event of a flat tire, your safety comes first. Please ensure your motorcycle is parked safely on the shoulder of the road if you are not able to stop in a more secure area. Then, step back away from traffic as much as possible while waiting for assistance.
All EagleRider rental locations in the US and Canada provide a free Roadside Assistance Number at +1 (800) 234-1353, which you can call for assistance. The repair and towing costs depend on whether you have purchased insurance coverage when you initially picked up the motorcycle.
We strongly recommend purchasing the VIP-ZERO Theft and Damage Waiver at the rental counter (or during the booking process), as it covers flat tire repair and towing costs (up to $100 per occurrence). For more details, please visit EagleRider Motorcycle Rental Insurance.
What is your fuel policy?
All EagleRider motorcycles are presented with a full tank at the start of your rental and should be returned with a full tank. If your motorcycle is returned with less than a full tank of fuel, you will incur a refueling charge. In order to save time and the hassles of refueling immediately prior to returning your motorcycle, many EagleRider locations offer a convenient Prepaid Fuel option that can be selected during your booking process or at our rental counter at pick-up.
Are EagleRider rental motorcycles equipped to allow us to power items such as GPS, iPod®, or other devises while we are riding?
The Harley-Davidson® Street Glide®, Electra Glide®, Road Glide® and the Harley Trikes® have power outlets built into the fairing. If you order an EagleRider GPS as part of your rental package one of our technicians will wire it directly to the motorcycle's power source.
How are rental rates calculated?
Rental rates are based on 24-hour increments. If you pick up the bike at 10:00 a.m. it is due back by 10:00 a.m. the agreed upon day. EagleRider offers rate discounts starting for rentals of 7 days or more. We also offer competitive group rates.
When do I need to pay for my motorcycle rental?
Reservations over $500 USD are eligible to pay a minimum deposit of 20% at the time of booking. All remaining balances must be paid in full within 30 days from the day that your reservation starts (pick-up date) and are collected automatically on the dates listed on the Review & Book page. Otherwise, full payment is required at the time of booking.
What are the rental locations' hours of operations?
Our rental locations' hours of operations vary and depend on the seasons. For accurate and up-to-date information, we recommend checking the specific hours for your preferred rental location.

What do I do in case of a breakdown during my rental?
All EagleRider rental locations in the US and Canada provide a free Roadside Assistance Number at +1 (800) 234-1353, which you can call for assistance. Our team will make arrangements to have the motorcycle towed to the nearest EagleRider location or repair shop to help get you back on the road as quickly as possible. For the comprehensive coverage, we highly recommend opting for the VIP-ZERO Theft and Damage Waiver. Are the side saddlebags and storage on motorcycles lockable?
Certain models provide lockable storage. Harley-Davidson® Electra Glide®, Harley-Davidson® Road King Standard®, Harley-Davidson® Street Glide®, Honda® Gold Wing®, Honda® ST1300®, and Indian Chieftain® motorcycles all include lockable storage, but other models do not. Regardless of whether or not your saddlebags and other storage areas lock, EagleRider always recommends you do not leave valuables or other items in your motorcycle overnight or when you are away from the motorcycle for extended periods.
Am I able to take my EagleRider rental motorcycle across international borders?
EagleRider policy for riding your rental motorcycle across international borders varies from country to country. It is always best to contact our Global Reservations Department or the location you are renting from for details on requirements, limitations or restrictions for taking EaglerRider rental motorcycles across international borders. The fewest restrictions for crossing international borders are always on an EagleRider Operated or Approved Guided Tour. Do you rent GPS systems?
Most EagleRider locations offer TomTom or Garmin GPS units for rent. If you want us to handle most of the planning for you, EagleRider GPS Route Specialists can pre-program your route, or one of our proprietary EagleRider Tour Routes into your GPS unit for a small additional charge.
What is included in the rental?
Not all EagleRider rental locations provide free DOT-Approved half-shell helmets for riders and passengers. Please revert to the pickup location for confirmation. Many locations also loan 3/4 or full-face helmets free-of-charge, subject to availability. All rental motorcycles also come equipped with one cable lock and disc brake lock for added security. All popular touring models are equipped with saddlebags, but sizes vary based on make and model. Additional motorcycle bags that attach to seat-backs are available for purchase in most EagleRider locations. A complimentary secure luggage storage service is offered at all EagleRider locations. Luggage shipping service for One-Way Rentals is available at many locations.
What gear do I need?
Jacket, proper eye wear and protective clothing are required when you operate the vehicle. Of course, you’re also welcomed to bring your own helmet and jacket. We recommended protective leathers, gloves, denim or leather pants and sturdy boots. Most of our locations offers additional protective gear for sale.
Can EagleRider assist me with booking hotels and attractions along with my motorcycle rental?
EagleRider offers excellent rates on thousands of hotels, lodges and B&Bs, including some his-toric accommodations. We also offer more than 9,000 of the most popular attractions, such as helicopter tours, show tickets, city tours, National Park entrance fees, and more.
Who can use store credits?
Store credits can only be used by and for the individual it was given to.
When can I use store credits?
Store credits are used once per payment. Payments are made once during booking and can be made multiple times afterwards.
Please note: Store credits can only be applied at locations within the same country as the original booking.
Do store credits expire?
All store credits expire 1 year after they are issued.
What is covered with roadside assistance?
Roadside Assistance Coverage provides towing and roadside assistance by an EagleRider approved vendor if your motorcycle becomes inoperable.
If you have purchased Roadside Assistance Coverage and your motorcycle becomes inoperable and you need emergency road service towing (within 30 miles of occurrence), fuel delivery of up to 2 gallons, or jumps start services, you must call 800-234-1353 for these services to be covered.
In purchasing the Roadside Assistance Coverage, we will waive the cost of any approved tow or road side assistance service unlimited. These services are only covered during the duration of your rental agreement and end on the date and time that your contract notes Date/Time Due In.
If you have not purchased the coverage and need Roadside Services, you may be billed for services rendered.
What if I am under 21 and trying to rent a motorcycle?
You need to meet the following criteria:
- 18 - 20 Years Old
- Motorcycle license or endorsement
- Completed Motorcycle Riding Academy (Harley-Davidson® Authorized Training Program only) or Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) Course
- Available to rent up to 500cc motorcycles
- USA Locations ONLY
Is lane splitting legal in the USA?
In 49 of the 50 states, lane splitting is illegal. The only state where lane splitting is legal is California.
What happens if I lost my rental motorcycle key?
If you lose your rental motorcycle key, expect to pay for its replacement. Lost key fee varies per motorcycle model and can be up to $500 USD per key.
Do I need a trailer if renting an Off-Road vehicle?
Yes. Off-Road Vehicles are not street legal, a trailer(s) will be required to take it off the premises. Off-Road vehicles are Yamaha® WR250, WR250F, WR450F, Honda® CRF250L, and Kawasaki KRL® 650.
Can I cancel my reservation because of bad weather?
Please be aware that weather conditions are unpredictable and not guaranteed. EagleRider cannot be held responsible for any unfavorable or unsafe weather conditions. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued due to such conditions. However, we understand the inconvenience, and we are committed to finding a solution on a case-by-case basis, depending on the reservation types. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, so please contact us for further assistance.

What is Peak Season Surcharge?
Peak Season surcharge is a variable charge that applies in some locations during high-demand periods, typically in May, June, August, and September.
What is the Concession Recovery Fee?
This fee covers a part of the costs related to the right to do business at specific EagleRider locations.
Are trailers, carriers, sweeper vans, and RAM mounts available for rent?
Trailers and sweeper vans are available for rent at the following EagleRider locations: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Denver, Miami, Orlando, and Chicago. RAM mounts can be purchase at the same locations.
Are customers welcomed as walk-ins?
Absolutely! We welcome walk-in customers at all our locations during their designated business hours. Feel free to visit us at any time—we look forward to assisting you.
Why do some EagleRider rental locations not open every day of the week?
Some EagleRider rental locations are inside Harley-Davidson dealerships, which means they operate in conjunction with the dealership's hours. As a result, their operational hours align with the hours of the Harley-Davidson dealership.

Can I use my personal motorcycle insurance when renting from an EagleRider location?
Certainly! You have the option to use your own motorcycle insurance. We recommend confirming with your insurance company to ensure coverage for rental motorcycles. However, please be aware that for certain rented motorcycles, a security deposit (credit card authorization) of $5000 USD will be required at the time of pickup. This deposit will be promptly released upon the return of the motorcycle without any damages.

What is the Event Surcharge?
Event surcharge is a fee to cover a part of the shipping costs and loss of rentals during the shipping period to get motorcycles in the event location so that our riders can enjoy the event.
Can I bring my kids with me as a passenger?
You're welcome to bring your children along as passengers. However, it's important to ensure their safety and comfort during the ride. Can I add a heel shifter, highway pegs, or a passenger backrest when renting a motorcycle?
While we do not offer the addition of a heel shifter and highway pegs to our rental motorcycles, we do provide the option of adding passenger backrests to specific models, such as the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide, and Heritage Softail. To confirm the availability of these additions, please inquire with the rental pickup location.
Does EagleRider have rain suits available for rent or purchase?
Rain suits can be purchased at most locations, though we do not rent them.
Can I change the primary rider's name on my booked motorcycle reservation?
If you've made a spelling mistake in the primary rider's name, please contact us, and we'll assist you with the correction.
However, if you wish to change the primary rider's name to a different one, we are unable to accommodate this request. However, you can still add an additional rider during online check-in or by informing the counter agent that you wish to do so on the day of pick-up. We'll be more than happy to assist you in adding an additional rider to your reservation.
Are sidecar rigs available for rent?
Unfortunately, at this time, EagleRider does not offer sidecar rigs for rent.
Can I ride a motorcycle in the US with an international driving license?
Absolutely, you can ride a motorcycle in the US with an international driving license, as long as it's valid for motorcycles. For additional details, please visit Motorcycle Rental License Requirements.
Can I use store credit on group booking?
No, you can't. Since the store credit is owned by an individual and non-transferable, store credit payment option is not available for group booking.
I forgot my password. How do I reset my EagleRider Account Password?
- Go to the Sign In page and click on the "Forgot Password" link.
- Enter the email address associated with your EagleRider account and click the "Send Reset Link" button.
- You will receive an email with a Reset Password link.
- Click on the Reset Password link in your email, enter your new password, and save the changes.
- You may be asked to log in with the new password.
Why am I not receiving the reset password link in my email?
If you’re not receiving the email to reset your password, it could be due to one of these issues:
- The email may have gone to your Junk/Spam folder; please check there.
- You initially signed up for your EagleRider account using Google, Facebook, or Apple. In this case, you need to log in using the "Login with Google/Facebook" or "Apple" option and enter your account password. If you forgot your Google, Facebook, or Apple password, you will need to reset it on their respective websites.
- You are using an email tied to a deactivated account. If you deactivated your account less than 30 days ago, contact Customer Support to recover your account. Once your account is recovered, try resetting the password through the "Forgot Password" link. If you deactivated your account more than 30 days ago, unfortunately, your account is permanently deleted. You will need to create a new account using a new email address.
- You might be in an area with a weak internet connection. Try again from a location with a stronger internet connection.
How do I change email address on my EagleRider account?

What happens if I delete my user account?
Deleting your account will immediately remove your access to both eaglerider.com and eagleshare.com, meaning you will no longer be able to log in.
Before deleting your account, ensure there are no outstanding reservations, store credit, membership credits, or rewards tied to your account.
If you are an EagleShare host, you will lose access to your bike listings and bookings.
If you accidentally delete your account, please contact our support line within 30 days of submitting the deletion request. After 30 days, your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
What is the difference between a Self-Guided and Guided Tour?
The main difference between EagleRider Guided and Self-Guided Tours is the support structure. Guided Tours have fixed departure dates, ride in large groups (10-15 bikes, 20-25 people) along a set itinerary, led by a Tour Guide, and travel with a luggage/support vehicle. Self-Guided Tours are for smaller/individual groups, and they much more flexible with day-to-day routing, often allowing for a greater sense of freedom, independence, and accomplishment.
Do you provide airfare?
No, airfare is not provided.
Does EagleRider Tour Package include hotel resort fees?
No. Resort fees are NOT covered by EagleRider and must be paid for by the client at the time of check-in.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfasts are typically not included with our Self Drive Tours however, certain hotels will provide breakfast with the room. We will not know if breakfast is included until the hotel is confirmed.
What is a Self Drive Tour and what is included?
Our Self Drive Tours are a packaged tour that includes your bike rental, hotel accommodations, and route suggestions. Please see our Self Drive Tours webpage for a full list of what is and is not included with our Self Drive Tours.
What are the requirements to participate in a Self-Guided motorcycle tour?
In order to participate in our Self-Guided or Guided Motorcycle Tours, you must meet the following requirements:
- Driver must be 21 years of age or older.
- Driver must have a valid and unrestricted motorcycle license.
- Driver must posses a valid credit card.
If I have a restricted motorcycle license can I still ride on a tour?
Unfortunately no, in order to ride on a Self Drive Tour you must have a valid and unrestricted motorcycle license.
Is there insurance included with the bike?
The bike will come with the mandatory minimum level of insurance required by the State you rent the bike. This will only protect the rider against claims made by a third party for property damage and injury. EagleRider offers a Theft & Damage Waiver which limits your liability in case of damage to the motorcycle, as well as Supplemental Liability Insurance, which protects the driver against claims made by a 3rd party.
Are there set departure dates for Self Drive Tours?
Our Self Drive Tours do not have any set departure dates and you are welcome to start your tour any day of the week our locations are open for business.
Can we book pre and post tour nights?
Yes, we can easily add extra hotel nights to the beginning or end of your tour.
Can we change the hotels/itinerary once the tour is booked as well as while I’m on tour?
Prior to starting your tour we may be able to change your hotels and itinerary depending on availability. If we are able to make a change, a surcharge may be applied. Unfortunately changing your hotel while on tour will not be possible. Your hotels are booked in advance and once your tour has started it will not be possible to change hotels.
Can we customize an existing tour or create a completely custom tour?
Yes! One of the advantages of our Self Drive Tours is that they are completely customizable: you are welcome to modify an existing tour, and our Booking Agents can help you create your own Custom Tour.
What kind of hotels are included in the self-guided tour, and can we have a hotel list?
The hotels selected for our self-guided tours are determined by availability, and we are unable to provide an exact hotel list until bookings are confirmed. However, the hotels we typically use are 3-star motorcycle-friendly properties. Examples of hotels we have used in the past are Best Western, Holiday Inn, and Quality Inn & Suites. Depending on the location, we can also arrange higher-star properties for an additional fee. It's important to note that smaller towns may have limited options, typically starting from 2-star properties, and securing a higher star hotel may not be possible. However, in major cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, etc. we can often arrange bookings at higher-star properties.
Where can I store my luggage while on tour?
For Roundtrip tours you are welcome to store any suitcases/luggage at our EagleRider office. Luggage storage will not be possible for one way tours. If you still have any specific questions or concerns about luggage storage, feel free to reach out to our team at tours@eaglerider.com for assistance.
Will I receive my first choice bike, is it guaranteed?
Unfortunately bike choices are not guaranteed due to factors outside our control. The majority of our riders receive their first bike choice however, at the time of booking we required two choices to be provided.
Do I need to pay a deposit to reserve a self-guided tour? If so, how does it work, and when is the final balance due?
Yes.
- For self-guided tours with a total cost exceeding $500 USD and booked more than 30 days before the pickup date, a minimum deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be fully paid within 30 days prior to the pick-up date.
- If the booking is made within 30 days of the pick-up date, the final balance will be automatically collected at midnight on the same card used at the time of booking.
Please note:
- For reservations under $500 USD, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- For group bookings paid with one credit or debit card, EagleRider will charge the remaining group balance to the same card used for payment at the time of booking. If you prefer to settle the remaining balance earlier or with a different payment method, please call and make arrangements before the remaining balance due date.
Who can use store credits?

What happens if I need to cancel my self-guided motorcycle tour?
In the event that you need to cancel your self-guided motorcycle tour:
- If the cancellation occurs outside of 45 days from the tour start date, you will receive a full refund in the form of store credit.
- Cancellations made between 44-31 days out from the tour start date will incur a 50% cancellation fee, with the remaining amount issued as store credit.
- Cancelling within 30 days of the tour start date will result in the forfeiture of the entire tour cost as a cancellation fee.

What happens if the weather does not let me continue my self-guided motorcycle tour?
Weather conditions are unpredictable, and EagleRider cannot guarantee ideal conditions for our Self-Guided Tours. What happens if there is a bike breakdown?
In the event of a bike breakdown you must call your bike pickup location for assistance. Your pickup location will be responsible for creating a solution to get you back out on the open road. This may include asking you to bring the bike to a nearby EagleRider location or repair shop; sending a team to provide assistance; or replacing the bike. Ultimately it is up to your pickup location to offer a solution.
What happens if I lost my rental motorcycle key?
If you lose your rental motorcycle key, expect to pay for its replacement. Lost key fee varies per motorcycle model and can be up to $500 USD per key.
What is the difference between a Self-Guided Tour and Bike only rental?
With a Self-Guided Tour, your bike, hotels, and route suggestions will be arranged by EagleRider. As its name implies, with the bike only rental, only the bike will be arranged by EagleRider and you will be responsible for arranging hotels and routes on your own.
Do I need a motorcycle driver license to take part in a guided tour?
Yes, a valid motorcycle driver license from your home country is mandatory to take part in a guided tour or rent any motorcycle.
How old do I have to be to go on a guided motorcyle tour?
You have to be at least 21 years old to rent a motorcycle from EagleRider and participate as a rider on a tour. There is no age restriction for passengers as long as you can touch the foot rests with your feet flat on the platform.
Do I need a visa for the USA?
Homeland Security requires from some countries that the passport has to be valid for another 6 months after the departure date. This does not apply for all countries but better safe than sorry.
Do you require certain experience to participate in a guided motorcycle tour?
We would never turn anybody down because he or she does not have a certain amount of experience. But for your own safety and level of comfort we recommend that you do have at least enough experience that riding a motorcycle through a curve does not make you nervous or apprehensive. You should be comfortable riding a touring motorcycle on an interstate, as well as through mountain passes. Some riders take advantage of our special Pre-Tour Rental Package for tour participants so they can arrive a day or two early to get comfortable on the bike and see the city at the same time.
Will I receive some kind of information about my tour before I arrive?
Yes, you will be receiving your initial confirmation email which outlines the arrival and dates so you can plan your travel arrangements. From there you will receive a welcome packet with a wealth of information at 90, 60, and 30 days before your tour start date.
Does EagleRider provide airport and hotel transfers for my tour?
EagleRider provides complimentary transfers between your tour hotel and our EagleRider rental locations at the start and finish of your guided tour. Unfortunately, many airports restrict private transfers to taxicabs, hotels, and rental car companies, so we are not able to provide direct airport transfers.
Can EagleRider assist me with booking additional hotels for before and after my tour?
Yes, your EagleRider Tour Specialist is more than happy to make these simple arrangements for you at rates that are typically lower than what you can find online or working with the hotel directly. We can book you at the same properties used at the start or finish of your tour, or we can make your reservation at a property nearby that you have been dreaming about visiting. If you are making your Tour Reservation on EagleRider website, be sure to check the "Add Pre-Nights" or "Add Post-Nights" box and we will be sure to include these as part of the simple booking process.

Do I need to bring my own helmet?
EagleRider is happy to include a complimentary helmet for both riders and passengers on all rentals and tours. These are D.O.T. Approved half-shell helmets. Many riders prefer the comfort and familiarity of their own personal helmet and choose to bring one from home. Almost all EagleRider locations offer half-shell, 3/4 face, and full-face helmets for purchase in our retail areas. We do require that you always wear a helmet regardless of the state.
Can I check my email while on tour?
Most hotels we use on tour provide complimentary WiFi in the room or in the lobby for guests. There may be cases in remote locations where a WiFi signal is not available or comes with a fee.
How many miles do we ride each day?
Our average riding day while on a Guided Tour is typically between 200 - 250 miles, with the occasion day that will be around 300 miles. Our groups do stop often to enjoy the sights and attractions, as well as to ensure the group is well rested and moving at a leisurely pace. For those interested in baring a lot of miles each day, you may want to check out one of our Custom Self-Drive Tours where you can work with a Tour Specialist to build an itinerary that covers as many miles a day as you like.
Is fuel and oil included on our Guided Tours?
Yes, fuel and oil for your bike are included on all scheduled riding days. If you choose to go for a ride on a "rest day" the cost of fuel is not covered. The inclusion of fuel represents a huge value to customers booking with EagleRider.
How do I get to the airport when the tour is finished?
EagleRider will provide transportation to and from the hotels in your starting and finishing destinations for the tour. Airport transportation is limited to hotel shuttles and taxi cabs by law in most major cities.
Do I get the bike I choose if I book early enough?
While it is extremely rare for an EagleRider Tour participant not to receive their Preferred Bike Model, we do ask all riders to provide us with their "Next Best Thing" as a backup. Your "Next Best Thing" should be the make and model bike that you know you would be just as comfortable riding, and the one that you know would still be part of an incredible riding experience. EagleRider knows how important bike choice is to our riders, and we will always do everything we can to ensure that you have your dream bike for your dream ride.
How many people are in a group?
In order to give the group an opportunity to truly bond and learn to ride as a cohesive one, we always try to limit the groups between 8 and 15 bikes. In a very uncommon circumstance, a group of bikes could have 16 or 17 motorcycles.
What are the hotels like on a guided tour?
Accommodations are a very important of the EagleRider Tour Experience, so we only stay in properties that have come to meet the high EagleRider standards over the years. We always choose a nice mix if luxury, history, and fun; focusing on properties that are representative of the region we are riding in. You may stay in a 4 Star hotel in downtown Chicago on night, then be sleeping in a historic Route 66 motel the next night. Or you may spend one night in a Las Vegas Strip resort then spend the next night in a mountainside lodge outside Yosemite National Park.
How much luggage can I bring on a guided motorcycle tour?
It is important to us that each rider has enough gear and clothing to be comfortable for the entire length of the tour, so we allow one large suitcase and one carry-on size bag for each rider and passenger on a guided motorcycle tour. We are very flexible on this policy in case you decide to do a bit of shopping along the way, or if you need to bring a few extra items to look great around the pool or on the town at night.
What kind of insurance do you recommend?
Most tour participants choose to bundle one of our Theft and Damage Waiver options with our Supplemental Liability Insurance options for maximum peace of mind. It is always best to ask your Tour Specialist which coverage they recommend during the simple booking process.
What if my flight is delayed and I can’t make it on time?
Please don't allow a delayed flight to make you nervous about missing the group or the tour. Our local team will do whatever we need to make sure you enjoy the tour you have booked, no matter what time you arrive. Your Tour Welcome Packet will include the phone number for your Tour Leader, as well as our office numbers. In the event that you arrive late all you have to do is give us a call and we will make arrangements for you to meet the group directly at the Welcome Celebration or in the hotel lobby.
What motorcycle models are best if I ride with a passenger on a guided motorcycle tour?
For guided motorcycle tours with a passenger, we recommend the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, Street Glide Touring Edition, Road Glide Touring Edition, and Road Glide Ultra. These models come standard with the Tour-Pak, offering the maximum luggage space and enhanced passenger comfort. Additionally, other Harley-Davidson models feature a passenger backrest with a luggage rack.

Our EagleRider Tour Leaders are experts at getting a feel for the needs and desires of the group, and will do their best to accommodate all requests for stops. 20 years of leading tours gives us the advantage of knowing the best places to stop for photos, attractions, meals and everything else you have been dreaming of doing on your EagleRider tour. If you have a special request be sure to let the Tour Leader know in the morning before the group hits the road for the day so he can fit it in the schedule. We run a very relaxed group atmosphere, and all riders are also encouraged to take some time on the trip to venture out on their own for a few hours. We'll be sure to set a meeting place or ensure that you have detailed route to the hotel for the night if you want to hit the road solo or in a small group part of the day.
Do the prices vary by bike model?
The cost of the tour covers every bike model EagleRider offers, with the exception of our three wheeled vehicles or custom motorcycles.
Do I need to bring rain gear?
A light set of rain gear is recommended.
I own a motorcycle; can I ride my own bike on a guided tour?

Do I have to stay with the group at all times during the motorcycle guided tour?
Absolutely not. EagleRider realizes that each rider's dream trip is different. While some love riding with the group, others may want to venture off on their own to explore the open road. If you are going to head out solo or in a small group please be sure to let your Tour Leader know so he can assist you with a route and a meeting place for later in the day. We love to send our riders out to enjoy the road in whichever way makes you happy.
Can I swap bikes with another person in my group?
Yes, you would have to sign each other's rental contracts in this case. If you should happen to damage the other persons motorcycle it will be your responsibility to cover the damage occurred.
What kind of clothes should I bring?
Your Tour Specialist will send a very detailed Suggested Packing List with some great ideas on how to prepare for your motorcycle journey. You may also find it helpful to check out the EagleRider Motorcycles Facebook page to ask your fellow riders what they found helpful to pack when they did the same tour the same time of year.
Can I go in the support van if I get tired?
As much as we like to accommodate all your need we’d like you to understand that you’re attending a motorcycle tour. The van is at your courtesy for your baggage and is supposed to carry customers only in an emergency; e.g. severe health problems, accident, breakdown of motorcycle etc.
What can I expect regarding the weather for guided motorcycle tours?
Weather can be unpredictable and subject to change. Generally, during the mid-summer months, there's a high probability (around 90%) of experiencing dry and hot conditions on any of our tours. However, it's worth noting that temperatures might be a bit cooler along the west coast, and you can expect some rain along Route 66. The best approach is to come prepared; bring your raingear and a range of clothing to ensure you're equipped for various weather conditions.
Do all bikes have a windshield?
Most EagleRider rental motorcycles are available with a windshield at no extra cost. Some smaller model bikes may not include a windshield so be sure to ask your Tour Specialist.

Who can enroll in Club EagleRider Membership?
At present, all Membership Plans and their benefits are exclusively offered to residents of the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom who hold a valid driver's license from their respective state or province. To rent a street-legal motorcycle, you must have a valid motorcycle class driver's license or an equivalent motorcycle endorsement. However, please note that a motorcycle license is not a requirement for purchasing or joining our membership.
How do I enroll in Club EagleRider? And what information do I need to provide?
Enrollment is as simple as clicking the Join Now button on the Club EagleRider page. You will be asked to create an account if you don't have one. If you already had an account with EagleRider, click on the Sign In button to log in. On the next screen, you just need to provide a valid payment form and billing address and answer a few basic questions about yourself.
What are Rental Credits?
Rental Credits or Membership Credits are redeemable towards the daily cost of rentals. Members are still responsible for the costs of surcharges, taxes, fees, and add-ons such as but not limited to damage waivers and insurances.

Where can I use my membership benefits?
You can use your membership benefits, which includes discounts on apparel and rental days, at Club EagleRider locations. There are two ways to find them:

How can I use my Rental Credits?
Using membership credits are easy:

How long does the Membership last?
Each membership term is 12 months. Membership term length varies based on your current active Membership Plan. If you are on a Monthly Plan, your subscription will be billed monthly and will renew automatically on your anniversary date unless you choose to disable auto-renewal.
If you are on a Yearly (Pre-paid) Plan, your subscription will be billed and renewed automatically on your anniversary date unless you choose to disable auto-renewal.
If I prepay for an annual membership plan, do I receive 12 months of credits upfront?
No, credits are accrued and distributed on a monthly basis, even if you prepay for the annual membership plan.
Are membership credits accepted all the time?
No, there are some periods when membership credits are not accepted at certain Club EagleRider locations. This typically adds up to around 60 days in a year. However, during these periods, you can still enjoy other member benefits, including your daily rate discount.
To find out when you can use your membership credits at a specific Club EagleRider location:
- Go to the Membership page.
- Scroll down to the Availabilities and Restrictions section.
- Pick your preferred pick-up location.
- Click on the "When Can I Use My Rental Credits" tab.
Can I add more days to my reservation and pay for the extra days with my membership credits?
Yes, you can as long as your membership status is active. For any reservation that is confirmed, you can add more day(s) and utilize available credits in your membership account as long as the drop-off date of your reservation is before the credit expiration date plus 6 months. Contact our Sales Team, or location directly, for assistance.
NOTE: Your membership account must be in active status in order to utilize membership credits.
Can I cancel my Club EagleRider membership?
Membership is based on each 12-month term. Your subscription will automatically renew on your anniversary date unless you are opt-out by disabling your membership automatic renewal setting before your year is up. You may opt-out of your next membership term by disabling automatic renewal located in your Membership Dashboard.
Once you have completed your 12-month term and have chosen not to renew for an additional term, you will have 30 days to utilize any remaining credits — this is considered the 30-day Grace Period.
After the 30-day Grace Period, your membership account will be canceled. If you have unused credits, they will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed, or converted into store credit or cash. If you want to re-subscribe, you are welcome to rejoin Club EagleRider Membership. The unused credits prior to your new subscription will not be honored in all cases. If you were a Charter Member, you would lose all charter member’s benefits once your membership was canceled.
NOTE: Membership discount will not be applied on reservations made while the membership account is within the 30-Day Grace Period (Within Grace Period). Please be advised that membership credits cannot be redeemed on reservations with drop-off dates beyond 6 months after the credits' expiration date. If you are a charter member, you will be required to pay the number of credits per vehicle model just like the new member when you make a reservation during the grace period.
I already picked-up the bike, now I want to add more days to the reservation. Can I pay the extra days with my membership credits?
If you are already on the road and would like to extend your reservation and utilize credit(s), please kindly send the request 1 day before your new scheduled drop-off date. In all cases, we will not apply membership credit(s) on or after the drop-off date.
NOTE: Your membership account must be in active status in order to utilize membership credits.
How can I redeem a Rental Credit or get my eligible Membership Discount?
- Go to our Home Page and click on the Sign In box at the top right corner. Enter your Login and Password, or log in with Facebook (whichever you used to join Club EagleRider).
- Go through the normal booking process.
- The system will automatically apply your Club Member Discount to the rental rate if applicable to the chosen pick-up location at the Review and Book page.
- If you have Rental Credits available, the system will automatically apply your available Rental Credits if you are picking up from a participating location.
NOTE:Membership credits can be redeemed before their expiration date but cannot be applied on reservations with drop-off dates beyond 6 months after the credits' expiration date.
What if EagleRider cannot collect membership payment(s)?
EagleRider will send you an email to notify you that we're unable to process the payment. We recommend you check with your bank or contact us to bring the payment up to date. If your club account is in "Failed Payment" status for over 12 months, EagleRider will cancel your account, and all accumulated credits will be forfeited. However, you can re-subscribe Club EagleRider again.
Note: If you are a Charter Member, you will lose the charter status once your membership is canceled.
What is the cancellation policy for reservations made with membership credits?
If you decide to cancel a reservation made with membership credits, the cancellation terms outlined in our policy here will apply. In addition, you may be eligible to receive store credit equivalent to the cost per membership credit; however, please note that all membership credits will be forfeited.
Exceptions: You may receive membership credits back and store credit for the amount you paid in special circumstances such as severe weather conditions, epidemics, medical reasons, and government-mandated obligations including jury duty, court appearance, and military deployment. To be considered for exceptions, appropriate documents supporting your situation must be provided.
Do I still have to pay for other fees when making a booking as a member?
Members are given their discounted daily rate and applicable credits. Rental Credits are applied towards the daily rental cost and exclude surcharges, taxes, fees, and add-ons such as but not limited to damage waivers and insurances. All other fees, including Peak Season Surcharges, Event Surcharges, One-Way Fees, Taxes and all other applicable fees remain the customer’s responsibility.
Can I give my rental credits to someone else without making a booking?
No. You may use your rental credits for yourself or friends and family while making an online booking and logged in to your account. If you choose to transfer your rental credit while all on the same booking, a transfer fee (if applicable) may be applied per credit to the booking. Credits cannot be taken from one membership account and added to another membership account.
What happens to my membership credits when my membership is terminated?
If your membership is terminated before the agreed 12-month term, all accumulated membership credits will be forfeited.
How can I use a rental credit for friend or family member?
- Go to our Home Page and click on the Sign In button at the top right corner and enter your Login and Password, or log in with your Facebook (whichever you used to join Club EagleRider).
- Go through the normal booking process and add friend or family member names in the Rider Name field.
- If you have Rental Credits available, the system will automatically apply all available Rental Credits if you are picking up from a participating location.
- If you applied your credits and the system recognized you are booking for someone else, the system will automatically charge a transfer fee (if applicable) per credit used.
NOTE: If you make a group booking, you must choose the option "Pay for each motorcycle separately" in order to pay with Rental Credits. Membership discount will not be applied to friend or family member bookings.
Can I apply membership discount when booking for friends or family?
No, the membership discount is only for you. If you are booking for someone else, simply change the rider's name on the checkout page. Look for the "Change Name" button located below the Rider Information form.
As a Club EagleRider member, do I get discounts if adding more rental days?
Yes! In addition to the membership credits, you also receive discounts on additional rental days and apparel. These discounts are automatically applied when you book online with your membership account, and we’ll make sure you still see how much you're saving! The amount you save varies based on your current active membership subscription plan. Check your Membership Dashboard. for more info!

How can I renew my Club EagleRider Membership?
Club EagleRider Membership will automatically renew on your anniversary date unless you opt-out. If you want to renew after opting out of the automatic renewal, you can simply opt-in again by clicking on "Enable Renewal" button on your Membership Dashboard.

What happens if I don’t use my monthly rental credit(s)?
Depending on your current active subscription plan, your credit(s) may be eligible for rollover for up to 18 months or 24 months from the date it is received. After the rollover period, if you still don't use your monthly credits, you will lose them. We will not reinstate or re-add them back to your account. You may find information about your plan’s rollover rules on our Membership Page.
For example, if you receive a rental credit today, you can utilize this credit for up to 18 months from the date you received it. In addition, you may use this credit on reservations for up to 6 months in the future (as long as the reservation drop-off date is before the credits expiry date plus 6 months).
Do my credits expire?
Yes. As of September 19, 2022, your credit(s) will expire 18 months from the time it is received (was 12 months). If you stop renewing your membership, you still can make a reservation in the 30-day Grace Period window from the date of cancellation to use any remaining credits before the membership expires and all discounts and credits are lost permanently.
NOTE: If you are a charter member, who signed up before April 12, 2018, your credit(s) will expire 24 months from the time it is received.
Can I use my credits on tentative or vehicles with limited availability?
Yes, you can.
Why can't I use my credits at booking checkout?
Your membership must be active and all dues paid. You must have at least 1 or more credits available for use in your account, and the drop-off date of your reservation must be before the credit expiration date plus 6 months. If you are currently in the 30-day Grace Period window, you can still use your remaining credits as long as the drop-off date of your reservation is before the credits expiry date plus 6 months.
If your membership is active, please do check the location's calendar because your reservation pickup and drop-off date might fall on dates that the location does not accept Rental Credits. To check the location's availability calendar, visit Membership Page, scroll down to the AVAILABILITIES & RESTRICTIONS section, choose a location, and select "When Can I Use My Rental Credits" tab.
Can I upgrade my current membership?
Yes! To upgrade your current membership, simply log in to your account at EagleRider.com, navigate to the Manage Membership option under Your Account and click on UPGRADE YOUR PLAN NOW button. Any membership credits you currently have will seamlessly transfer to the new plan along with its respective Terms and Conditions.
Please note: The Membership Upgrade feature is exclusively available for monthly membership plans.
How can I use my Free Birthday Membership Credit?
To get your Free Birthday Membership Credit, book online for pick-up at a Club EagleRider participating location. Just make sure your reservation period includes your birthday. When you reach the final step of your booking, the system will automatically apply a Birthday Credit. Remember, you can use your birthday credit once per 12-month term.
Note: If you signed up on or after February 27th, 2020, you won't receive birthday membership credits.
Are gift cards physical or digital?
EagleRider currently offers only digital gift cards (e-gift cards). However, please note that we have temporarily paused the sale of rental gift cards. If you're interested, we encourage you to explore our Club Membership Gift Card option. Please note that any previously purchased rental gift cards remain valid and can still be redeemed during the booking process. If you need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Can I buy a gift card in any currency?
Currently, EagleRider only offers gift card amounts in USD. If you decide to purchase the gift card, EagleRider will not be responsible for any foreign transaction fee/exchange fee.
Do gift cards expire?
Gift cards never expire.
How does the recipient redeem their gift card?
- Go to EagleRider.com or EagleShare.com.
- Select a pickup location and drop-off location.
- Select a vehicle and insurance/protection/gears (optional)
- On the Review & Book page, enter email address associated with the gift card.

Can I transfer or sell a gift card to another person?

Can I use a gift card on my family/friends’ reservations?
You can use your gift card on your family/friends' reservations on EagleRider, not EagleShare. If you are making a reservation for them on EagleRider.com, make sure you put your email address at Review & Book page to redeem the gift card.
Can I redeem a gift card on a reservation that I already paid and get the original payment refunded to my card?
No, you cannot.
Can I use gift card on a group booking?
Unfortunately, gift card can only be redeemed on a single (1 bike) reservation.
Can I use more than 1 gift card on a reservation at checkout?
Currently, only one gift card can be redeemed at checkout on EagleRider; however, you can use more than 1 gift card at checkout on EagleShare.
Can I use a gift card to purchase other gift cards?
Gift cards cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
How can I check my gift card balance?
When you redeem the gift card at Review & Book page, if the gift card has a balance, it will automatically be applied to your booking.
What if I lost my gift card?
You should treat gift cards like cash. EagleRider/EagleShare will not be responsible if any gift card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.
What should I do if I discover my gift card is used by unauthorized person?

What happens to my Club EagleRider Membership Gift Account after 12 months?
By default, all Club EagleRider Membership Gift Accounts have auto-renewal disabled. After the initial 12 months, your membership gift account will enter a 30-day grace period. During the 30-day grace period, you have the option to decide whether to renew your membership or let it expire.
If no renewal action is taken within the 30-day grace period, the Membership Gift Account will be automatically canceled, resulting in the termination of all associated benefits and forfeiture of any unused membership credits.
If you wish to continue enjoying the exclusive benefits of the Club EagleRider Membership, simply enable the auto-renewal feature on your Membership Dashboard. Once enabled, you'll transition to the Payment Methods page, where you can add a default credit card to continue the subscription.
Can I gift Club EagleRider Membership to someone residing in a different country?
Currently, Club EagleRider memberships are limited to residents of the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain through EagleRider. Unfortunately, memberships cannot be gifted to individuals living in other countries at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Why is the Rewards Program being discontinued?
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services, we have decided to retire the EagleRider Rewards Program. This allows us to focus on enhancing other benefits and features for our customers.
When is the Rewards Program ending?
The program will officially be discontinued on March 3, 2025. After this date, no new points will be issued, and rewards-related features will be phased out.
What happens to my remaining points?
We are currently evaluating options and will provide further updates soon.
What happens to my reservations that I paid with Reward Credits? Will I lose my Rewards Member discount on existing reservations?
No, there will be no impact on your existing bookings. Reservations paid with Reward Credits and those that include the Rewards Member discount will remain unchanged.
Do I still get the Rewards Member discount on future bookings?
No, the Rewards Member discount will no longer apply to new bookings made on or after March 3, 2025.
Can I still use my Reward Credits?
Yes, if you have existing Reward Credits, you may continue to apply them to your bookings until they expire.
Will I still see my Rewards history?
You will be able to access your rewards history until December 31, 2025. After that, the Rewards section will be removed from your account.

How do I earn reward points?
To earn points through the EagleRider app or website, log into your account before completing a reservation checkout. You will earn 5 points per $1 spent on qualifying reservations automatically after your reservation is completed and dropped off.
Which reservations qualify for points and rewards?
All single motorcycle rental reservations qualify for points and rewards. Groups (2+ motorcycles), tour, wholesale, and agent-assisted reservations do not qualify for points and rewards at this time.
Do points expire?
You get to keep all your points as long as you make one qualifying reservation once every 365 days. If you don't, your points balance will expire and reset to zero.
How do I keep track of my points and rewards?
You can log into your account to see how many points and rewards you've earned. View your rewards.
What is the minimum age for driving/riding?
Drivers must be at least 18 and have a valid driving license to operate the vehicle. No guests under the influence can participate.
Is a driving license required?
Guests wishing to operate the vehicle must present a valid driving license on the tour day. International driving licenses are accepted.
How old do passengers need to be?
Passengers must be at least 56 inches tall.
Do I need to have any off-road experience?
No, our driving experiences are open to anyone, regardless of their experience behind the wheel of our off-road vehicles. We are happy to accommodate both first-time and experienced riders, so just relax, have fun, and enjoy your drive.
Will I be picked up?
We offer several pickup options from our EagleRider Las Vegas location, specified points on the Las Vegas Strip, or select hotels there. You can generally plan on pick-up being around an hour before the scheduled start of your tour time, and we suggest you also allow the same amount of time for the return. We are located approximately 30 minutes from the Strip, and there may be other pick-ups for your tour.
Can I drive myself to the Off-Road Trail location point?
Yes, but you must first complete your contract at EagleRider Las Vegas, get fitted for helmet, watch safety video, and complete Desert Tortoise Conservation form. If you choose to drive yourself to the meeting point, please note that you must arrive at least 20 minutes before the tour start time to complete the registration process. The guide will not hold the tour for late arrivals.
Can I just show up?
Walk-ins are accepted based upon availability, but all reservations must be made no less than 4 hours prior to the pick-up time.
What should I wear?
Please dress in weather-appropriate clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We recommend wearing long pants and closed-toe shoes with good traction, as rocks and cacti may be on the trail. However, during warmer months, shorts and tees are acceptable. Sun protection is highly recommended.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
It is advised that you bring sunblock, as the desert sun can cause sunburns. It is recommended that riders wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and closed-toe shoes. However, during warmer months, shorts and tees are acceptable. Backpacks can be helpful to stow loose items, sunscreen, sunglasses, and your camera to capture epic moments. Leave jewelry and other valuables at home or with the attendant at the departure camp – do not store wallets or keys in unsecured pockets during the ride!
How long is the tour?
Two and a half hours with a 30-minute trail and safety orientation. You will get two hours of Off-Road fun!
Do you offer Insurance or Damage Waivers?
We currently offer only Off-Road VIP Coverage for $35. We do not offer Insurance.
Do I have to stay with my group and tour guide during the off-road tour?
Absolutely. Since it's a guided off-road tour, not a self-drive excursion, it's essential to remain with your tour guide at all times. It's an integral part of the experience, ensuring your safety and allowing you to fully enjoy the designated routes.
Can I customize an off-road tour?
Currently, we do not offer customized off-road tours. However, we encourage you to check back with us later, as this may change in the future.
