As the world’s oldest motorcycle rally, Laconia’s Motorcycle Week will celebrate 99 years in 2022. Located in scenic New Hampshire, this rally provides a little bit of everything. From flat track races at the NH Motor Speedway, live entertainment, swap meets, poker runs, and bike shows, not to mention the gorgeous routes throughout New Hampshire’s countryside, you won’t want to miss this historic event.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Enter the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for nine days of motorcycle mayhem! Join the American Motorcyclist Association Gypsy Ride meeting at Weir’s Beach headquarters Sunday (KSU 10:30 AM) to the speedway for a day at the races. At the speedway, catch the North American Vintage Championships for speeds up to 130MPH on a variety of bikes including 1950’s classics and modern twins. Experience the longest-running motorcycle race in America by joining in viewing the 99th Annual Loudon Classic Middleweight Grand Prix. Other events at the speedway throughout the week include action on dirt and asphalt with the SuperMoto East Coast events held at the speedway. Join the Penguin Road Racing School as Harley Davidson hosts the nine-mile largest demo ride both off and on the property to test the newest in the motorcycle industry. Weir’s Beach

Take a stroll on Weir’s Beach boardwalk or along the shoreline for a moment away from the excitement of Motorcycle Week. For more entertainment, visit the penny arcades, bumper cars, and walking trails nearby on Lake Winnipesauke. Various motorcycle-themed vendors will also be onsite throughout Motorcycle Week to meet all of your riding needs! On June 15th of Motorcycle Week, begin the evening with a motorcycle lights parade from downtown Laconia leading to Lakeside Avenue as you join thousands of fellow riders to light up the sky Wednesday night of bike week.
Annual Covered Bridge Tour and Scenic Ride

You won’t want to miss one of the best and can’t-miss rides of the year, the Annual Covered Bridge Tour and Scenic Ride. Plan for a full day of riding with this 135-mile tour which will take you through historic and modern bridges alike. The first stop on this tour will bring you to the Blair Bridge established in 1869. The Covered Bridge Farm Table Restaurant will host the lunch stop midway through the ride and will be the final destination on the tour. After lunch, you’ll see the 2000 Smith Millennium Bridge followed by the Wentworth Village Bridge (2016), and the Edgell Bridge established in 1885. Heading into the town of Bath, you’ll see the infamous and plentily photographed Bath Bridge, established in 1832, one of the state’s oldest surviving bridges. This will be followed by a pit stop at the oldest general store in the country, the Brick Store. Take Porter Road to the 6th and final, Swiftwater Bridge, established in 1849. You won’t want to miss this tour of New Hampshire’s bridges while enjoying a gorgeous scenic route full of natural beauty.
Northeast Motorsports Museum

To slow down after the races, check out the Northeast Motorsports Museum which houses 10,000 square feet of vintage motorcycles and cars alike. On the agenda you’ll also see vintage trophies, helmets, engines and vintage racing attire.
Bike Shows & Art Exhibits

There will never be a dull moment at Laconia Motorcycle Week with a schedule full of bike shows with unique and long-labored builds. Sign up at any of the bike shows while there to have a chance at taking home an honor! High Octane Saloon will be hosting many of these shows, including a Sports Bike Only show Saturday, and a Bagger and Vintage Motorcycle Show Monday, followed by an all-class, makes, and models show Wednesday. Thursday holds a plethora of fun including a Slow Race at the Historic Train Station downtown, and an antique bike show at Mystic Meadows in the evening. Enjoy the grand finale show on Friday at the annual City of Laconia Bike Show which includes Custom, Rat, Metric, Stock, Unique, and Best in Show categories. There will also be a swap meet during the bike show and a motorcycle rodeo and skill games!
