What We Look for in a Franchise

Franchise candidates will be evaluated based on managerial abilities and experience, personal drive for success, and financial strength.

General Criteria

EAGLERIDER franchises are available for ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals willing to assume the risks—and eager to reap the rewards—of owning their own business. You must be ready to make a full commitment to the business. As an owner of the business, you must put forth a full time commitment and attention to the key business drivers. Becoming an EAGLERIDER franchisee requires being prepared to make a significant financial commitment, therefore requiring an equal commitment of your time and energy.

Here are some, but not all, additional requirements that you must meet:

  • Personal participation in operating a retail facility or having a full-time, trained, and certified manager.

  • Successfully complete all training requirements.

  • Good credit record/ credit history evidenced by prompt payment of all financial obligations.

  • Estimated liquid capital required if you choose to finance your rental fleet will range from $64,352 - $229,048.

  • Estimated liquid capital required if you choose to pay cash for your rental fleet, expenses will range from $136,000 to $425,000.

  • Minimum net worth of $400,000.

  • Minimum fleet size of 8 rental units

  • Possess an entrepreneurial attitude, creativity, and the ability to make sound business decisions.

  • Ability to create and implement a comprehensive business plan.

  • Ability to successfully execute EAGLERIDER franchise operational procedures.

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Previous franchise experience is a plus, but not a requirement since we place high value on a person’s business acumen.

EAGLERIDER Locations:

EAGLERIDER franchises are available for ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals willing to assume the risks and eager to reap the rewards of owning their own business. You have a few options to choose from:

  • Develop a new EAGLERIDER facility within a current OEM powersport location

  • Re-brand an existing rental powersport rental facility

  • Develop a new industry EAGLERIDER facility including land acquisition and construction of the improvements

An EAGLERIDER franchise inside an OEM dealership can drive incremental traffic through a dealership, which can drive sales to all departments. Depending on your location, an EAGLERIDER franchise can also give you a piece of the motorcycle tourist customers searching for a brand they can trust.

Re-branding of an existing powersport rental facility (non EAGLERIDER facility) to EAGLERIDER allows you to operate under a brand recognized as an industry leader.

Developing a new to industry EAGLERIDER facility provides an opportunity to select a specific geographical location that meets both your needs and meets the site requirements for the EAGLERIDER franchise.

From time to time, EAGLERIDER may elect to sell and franchise via a competitive seal bid process company owned, company operated facilities.

Estimated liquid capital required if you choose to finance your rental fleet will range will range from $64,352 - $229,048. If you choose to pay cash for your rental fleet the estimated liquid capital required will range from $136,000 to $425,000. A good credit record/ credit history is also required, evidenced by prompt payment of all financial obligations. Have a minimum net worth of $400,000.

When you sign the franchise agreement, you must pay us an initial franchise fee of $30,000. The initial franchise fee includes the fee for any one (1) Rental Vehicle Class.

10% of Gross Rental Revenue and 5% of Gross Retail Revenue from EAGLERIDER products or $350 per month, whichever is more.

The EAGLERIDER franchisee must spend 5% of monthly gross revenue and a minimum one time spend of $5,000 for initial grand opening.

You must spend at least $5,000 on a pre-opening advertising program. We provide co-operative advertising of 25% of what you spend, up to a maximum of $1,250. You must spend at least 5% of your monthly Gross Revenue on local advertising and promotion

We do not give out earnings claims and encourage all potential franchisees to employ a full due diligence process in evaluating a potential EAGLERIDER franchisee. This could include investigating all sources of information, including all industry information and trends available from various third party sources such as NACS.

We will determine, in our sole discretion and based on our evaluation of your prior experience, how much training your personnel require and how it should be administered. At our sole option, the initial training program may be administered online, at your location, or at our headquarters. We strongly encourage our new franchisees to participate in our in classroom training program conducted at our World Headquarters in Hawthorne, CA.

Our goal is to offer our franchisees a fully comprehensive training program that teaches them the necessary elements for a powersport rental operation. Our training program includes; merchandising and inventory control, accounting and financial management, personnel management, and sales promotion.

Our franchise support teams are available to assist you with all your business planning or troubleshooting needs. You will be assigned a franchise operations manager who will be your performance coach and on call to assist you.
