Nashville - Civil War Motorcycle Tour

You will arrive in Nashville and head straight to pickup your bike, as you only have a short ride to spend the night in Murfreesboro to start your tour. Nashville, also known as “Music City U.S.A.”, is the capital of Tennessee. Legendary country music venues include the Grand Ole Opry House, home of the famous “Grand Ole Opry”. The Country Music Hall of Fame and historic Ryman Auditorium are Downtown, alongside legendary honky-tonks, dive bars, and dance halls. Today you will begin one of the best riding tours in this area of the country, the “Southern Appalachian Ride”. Heading east you will ride twisting highways with a short break at Fall Creek Falls on your way to Tellico Plains, where you'll find the Cherohala Skyway, in the heart of motorcycle country!

Day two will be a long one, but is likely to rank as one of the best days of riding you'll ever have. The Cherohala Skyway, Moonshiner 28, The Dragon, and The Foothills Parkway are just a few of the roads you will ride today; covering nearly 250 miles on writhing ribbons of asphalt draped over the beautiful mountains. Along your ride you will see breathtaking waterfalls and scenic overlooks as you experience the beauty the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains.

Today you will experience the nature of the Smoky Mountains and learn about its rich history. You will visit Cades Cove, hike to Clingmans Dome - the highest mountain in the Smokies, and zip line through the tree tops of beautiful Southern Appalachia. The night will come alive on the Gatlinburg strip, or you can relax at the Mountain View Inn after a long and active day.
