Arrival of the participants at Roma Fiumicino airport and transfer on your own to the booked hotel. In the afternoon motorcycle check-in at EagleRider location and after a quick orientation of the bikes, briefing with our tour leaders. Welcome Dinner and overnight stay in Rome Fiumicino.

Rome - Siena
It's finally time to start our Italian adventure, getting on our bikes and ride. Our first stretch will take us through the countryside and eventually to lake Bolsena where we will stop for a lunch lakeside. We will then continue north entering the world-famous region of Tuscany with its amazing vineyard covered hills. Montalcino, known for its Brunello, a wine produced only in this part of the region, will be the perfect place to stop for a coffee. The ride from here towards Siena is nothing short of sensational along its endless vineyards. Siena, Citta` del Palio”, one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. Walking through its “contrade” (districts) will set you back a few centuries, till the medieval era, soaking in its rich historical and cultural qualities. UNESCO’s world heritage site, the city is home of the first world bank still operating these days. Overnight in Siena.

Today is all about casual riding soaking in the scenery of the most “sought out for” wine destination in the world. The Chianti, probably Italy’s most known red wine, is grown in this region and we’ll take the chance to visit a local winery, taste some local food as we prepare to reach our final destination for the day: Florence, baby cot of Italian culture and Italy’s most important artistic destination.

City guided tour in Florence. Florence was a center of medieval European trade and finance and one of the wealthiest cities of that era. It is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance and has been called "the Athens of the Middle Ages”. From 1865 to 1871 the city was the capital of the recently established Kingdom of Italy. After a memorable day admiring and exploring the wonders of Florence it is time to resume our ride. Today’s destination and overnight is Gubbio, another true little gem tucked away on one of central Italy’s hills. We are heading from Tuscany to Umbria region, the green heart of Italy, the center of the World as it is ironically nicknamed by the locals, and also the homeland of your tour guide ancestors.
Tonight (like any nights) is a good chance to all seat around the dinner table, savor local dishes like black truffles and homemade pastas. Overnight in Gubbio

Gubbio - Pescara
It is time to head towards the sea but before we leave Umbria, we will get a chance to visit Assisi, Umbria’s most famous destination, the town where Francesco d’Assisi, Patron of Italy, was born and home of the San Francesco’s Basilica which we will take time to visit. A true spiritual destination, the place were S.Francis started on his spiritual journey and also the place where he was lay to rest. In fact, underneath the Cathedral is where the tomb is located and it is possible to visit as well.
We now leave Assisi and head east towards the calm waters of the Adriatic sea which will be the backdrop to our ride for the next couple of days. Overnight in Pescara area.

Pescara - Peschici
Our ride continues along the east coast and south bound towards the Gargano, the “spur” on the Italian “boot”. A popular destination for motorcycle enthusiasts due to its formation, a massif made of highland and several peaks projecting into the Adriatic Sea.
We will overnight right on the sea in the town of Peschici, famous for its seaside resorts, chilled vibes and great fish and seafood. Overnight in Peschici.

Peschici - Matera
Today we leave behind the calm and peaceful coast of the Adriatic sea and we ride through the country side of the northern Puglia region, the highest producer of olive oil. Olive trees are everywhere to be seen, an incredible sight to experience. We will overnight in Matera, famous for its “Sassi di Matera”. The Sassi originated in a prehistoric troglodyte settlement, are thought to be among the first ever human settlements in what is now Italy. Many of them are little more than small caverns, and in some parts of the Sassi a street lies on top of another group of dwellings. In the 1950s, as part of a policy to clear the extreme poverty of the Sassi, the government of Italy used force to relocate most of the population of the Sassi to new public housing in the developing modern city. The Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist destination for the region and Italy as a whole, attracting thousands of tourists annually. In 1997, the Amalfi Coast was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Our first day of relaxation! Today we will have the option to visit the island of Capri, easily reachable by hydrofoil or Pompeii, the ancient Roman city at the foot hill of the Vesuvius, the eruption of which completely buried it back in the year 79 A.C.
