After you have seen plenty of American deserts you will head to Northern California for some riding through famous wine country and across the legendary Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. To end these exciting two weeks of riding you will wind down with a tour along the Pacific Ocean via Highway 1 back into Los Angeles, California. At Mount Carmel Junction you pick up Hwy 9, which takes you all the way to Zion National Park. Compared to Yosemite and the Grand Canyon, Zion exudes a stronger sense of nature. Here, you and your bike make immediate contact with the environment. Check out the Seven-Mile Zion Park Scenic Drive – a great ride! You continue a few more miles into St, George, where you overnight.
